Dr. Denise Dvorquez is no stranger to medicine as she has wanted to practice medicine since she was young. Being raised in Ecuador, Dr. Dvorquez was around a diverse community of individuals with deep medical needs. She knew from the age of 12 that she wanted to help people in her community, which ultimately was the catalyst for her going to Johns Hopkins University to initiate her medical training.
Once she was done studying at Johns Hopkins, she matriculated through medical school in Ecuador to ultimately land at her residency training at the University of Miami School of Medicine. It was there that she completed her residency in Internal medicine. As an internist, Dr. Denise Dvorquez is passionate about bringing a whole health mindset to her practice. Her goal is to work with patients on their diet and lifestyle to bring about natural changes that lead to healthier and happier lives.
In her free time outside of the clinic, Dr. Dvorquez enjoys spending time with her family and her extremely active son. Any time that they have, they like to spend outside. Whether it is hiking, riding bikes, or going swimming, Dr. Dvorquez jumps right in.
