As most of you know, Dr. Susan Behnawa will be taking a maternity leave later this year. Her leave will last from late August until late November. While we’ll miss Dr. Behnawa during her absence, we know you’ll be in good hands with our fully capable team of providers here in Sun City. We’re also thrilled to announce there will be another physician joining our Sun City team in September 2022!
My name is Dr. Irene Kim. I graduated from El Dorado High School going on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in human biology at the University of California, San Diego. I continued my education at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York where I obtained my medical degree in osteopathic medicine. I am also an Internist. What that means is, I am an expert in adult medicine and care for the whole patient. I am specially trained to solve complicated diagnostic problems. If you’re interested in becoming a patient of mine, you can find me at our Sun City Office.
Hi, my name is Taralyn Johnson. I chose to pursue medicine because I have always been interested in science and trying to understand how the human body works. Practicing medicine combines this knowledge with human connection and service as well. I love being able to be a part of a patient’s health journey, building that patient-provider relationship with someone, and helping someone improve their health and quality of life. I really want to make sure patients understand why certain treatments are recommended, so that they are also a part of the decision making and feel comfortable about their medical care.
